Where are you based and do you travel?
I am an Edmonton based company, and yes I do travel. Let me know where you are and we’ll figure out how to get me out to your photos.
How do I pay you?
I accept e-transfer, cash, and cheques. Should you want to pay by credit card, Square can be provided with an additional fee.
Will you post the photographs on your website or social media?
This depends on the type of photos I do for you. If I want to I will ask for your permission first. However nothing will be posted to social media without a model release. You can also request image be taken down at any time. Just message me to do so.
How many images will I get?
I will give you as many images as I can get you. It will depend on the length of your photo day vs time photographing.
How do you deliver images?
I currently offer digital downloads and/or USBs to clients. I let you decide whichever you would prefer.
Do you offer albums, prints, or canvases?
Yes, I do, but a consultation is required.
Do you shoot video?
No, I do not. If you need help looking, I may be able to direct you to some of my contacts that can help you out.
I had to cancel my photos. Now what?
First I will work with you to try and reschedule your photos if that is an option for you. If that is not an option, I recommend reviewing your contract. Your contract will specify what will happen in the event of a full cancellation.
Didn't you use to do wedding photos?
Amanda Swanson Photography has been in the wedding industry since 2007. That's a long time to be doing the same thing. I decided it was time to try something new. Although I will still accept the odd wedding client, my main focus will now be on portraiture and corporate photography.
What weddings do you still do?
Small, intimate weddings (30 people or less,) that require less than 4 hours of coverage. I will also consider past clients and family members of past clients.
